Chattify Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Chattify. By using Chattify, you represent that:

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
• The information you provide is reasonably accurate.
• You will comply with applicable laws.
• You will follow these Terms and our Community Guidelines.

If you are under 18, you must not use Chattify.

2. The Chattify Service

Chattify is a social discovery and communication platform. Depending on availability, Chattify may provide:

• Account creation via Google, GitHub, or Email.
• User discovery, matching, swiping, and search filters.
• Direct messaging, image sharing, and voice messages.
• Audio and video calling features.
• Anonymous confessions, comments, and reactions.
• In-app points, rewarded advertisements, and premium subscriptions.

Features may vary by country, device, operating system, app version, legal requirements, and technical availability. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

3. Account Registration

You may need to create an account to access certain features. You agree to provide accurate information, keep it up to date, protect your login credentials, not share your account, and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account unless the activity resulted from circumstances outside your reasonable control.

4. Username and Profile

You may choose a username and profile parameters. You must not choose a username that impersonates another person or Chattify, infringes rights, is hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, deceptive, or abusive. We may change or remove usernames that violate these Terms.

5. Matching and Discovery

Chattify may provide discovery and matching features using user preferences, location, gender, availability, and technical parameters. Chattify does not guarantee matches, responses, compatibility, or that user-provided information is accurate.

You are responsible for exercising reasonable judgement when interacting with others.

6. User-Generated Content

Users may submit text, images, confessions, comments, voice messages, and other content. You remain solely responsible for content you submit, and must possess the necessary rights to share it. Content must not violate laws, these Terms, or our Community Guidelines.

7. Content Licence

When you submit content, you grant Chattify a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, display, and technically modify that content as reasonably necessary to operate, moderate, secure, and deliver the service.

You retain ownership of your content, subject to the rights granted above.

8. Anonymous Content

Certain features show content anonymously. However, anonymous does not mean Chattify cannot associate activity with technical or account parameters internally. We investigate anonymous violations for safety, security, fraud, abuse, and legal compliance.

Users must not use anonymous features to harass, threaten, spread illegal content, impersonate, or conduct scams.

9. Private Messaging

You agree not to use messaging features to harass, threaten, send spam, run scams, distribute malware, request financial info, or send illegal content. Users can block or report offending profiles instantly.

10. Audio and Video Calls

Calls depend on device hardware and connection. Chattify does not guarantee continuous availability or perfect quality. You must comply with applicable privacy and consent laws regarding recording. Do not record or distribute calls without permission.

11. Community Content

Chattify may moderate content by removing posts, restricting visibility, suspending or terminating accounts, and investigating logs. We do not guarantee that every violation will be caught instantly. Users should report violations immediately.

12. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use Chattify for illegal activities, harass, bully, dox, impersonate, run scams, send spam, distribute malware, attempt unauthorised access, circumvent safety systems, manipulate matching, commit ad fraud, reverse engineer, scrape data, or use bots.

13. Child Safety

Chattify is strictly for adults. You must not create an account if under 18, invite minors, sexualise or request media from minors, share abusive material, or groom children. Violations will be reported to appropriate authorities.

14. Sexual and Explicit Content

Chattify is not intended to facilitate prostitution, commercial sexual services, exploitation, or non-consensual explicit content. Violating content will be removed immediately.

15. Intellectual Property

All brand logos, code, databases, interface designs, graphics, and original content are owned by or licensed to Chattify Inc. You may not copy, distribute, or reverse-engineer these elements without permission.

16. Copyright Complaints

If you believe content on Chattify infringes your copyright, submit a copyright claim to: developer.chattify@gmail.com

17. In-App Points

Points are digital, non-transferable items with no cash value outside the app. They are not legal tender or bank deposits and cannot be redeemed for cash unless required by law. We may modify point values at any time.

18. Purchases

Point packages, subscriptions, and digital products are processed securely through Google Play, Apple App Store, or authorised payment channels. Billing terms are subject to the corresponding store platform.

19. Premium Subscriptions

Subscriptions offer monthly, annual, or lifetime options with benefits such as unlimited swipes, premium badges, and ad-free views. Benefits will be detailed at the time of purchase.

20. Subscription Renewal and Cancellation

Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the billing date. Deleting the app does not cancel active subscriptions. You must manage renewals in your Google Play or Apple ID account settings.

21. Rewarded Advertisements

In-app rewards for viewing advertisements depend on inventory and anti-fraud checks. You must not use bots, automated scripts, or commit ad fraud. Points obtained through ad abuse will be confiscated.

22. Refunds

Refunds are governed by Google Play Billing and Apple App Store policies. Please request refunds directly from the respective platform settings where the purchase occurred.

23. Third-Party Services

Chattify integrates with cloud hosting, WebRTC providers, Twilio, and payment processors. We do not control third-party infrastructure and are not responsible for their availability or security policies.

24. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or Community Guidelines, commit fraud, engage in illegal acts, or pose safety hazards. We may also restrict specific feature access.

25. Account Deletion

Deleting your account permanently revokes access, and voids remaining points, premium configurations, messages, and content logs. Backups are purged within legal guidelines.

26. Disclaimer

Chattify is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operations, nor do we certify that all user profiles are genuine. Use at your own risk.

27. Interactions with Other Users

You are solely responsible for your interactions. We do not run universal background checks. Exercise caution when sharing private details, shifting chats offline, or meeting matches in person. Never send money to individuals met through Chattify.

28. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chattify Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, loss of data, unauthorized access, or user actions.

29. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Chattify Inc. against claims, liabilities, and legal costs arising from your violation of these Terms, laws, content uploads, or misuse of the platform.

30. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to add, modify, or discontinue features, or alter in-app pricing and subscription frameworks. We provide legal notifications where required by law.

31. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the app, site, or email. Continued use of Chattify after updates constitutes agreement.

32. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Subject to applicable law, any disputes will be handled exclusively by the courts of Kathmandu, Nepal.
