Account Deletion

Permanent Action

Once your account is deleted, your matches, messages, and profile details cannot be restored.

Immediate Purge

Deletion requests trigger an immediate removal from our active matching databases.

If you are unable to access the app or want to make a manual deletion request, email us at developer.chattify@gmail.com.

1. Data Ownership

At Chattify, we believe you should have complete ownership and control of your personal data. You have the right to request deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time.

2. In-App Deletion Steps

The quickest and most secure way to delete your account is directly inside the mobile application:

  1. Open the Chattify application on your mobile device.
  2. Tap on your Profile icon to access settings.
  3. Select the Account Settings sub-menu.
  4. Tap on the Delete Account option at the bottom.
  5. Confirm the prompt. Your active session will terminate immediately.

3. Manual Deletion Requests

If you have uninstalled the application and do not wish to reinstall it, or if your device is lost or broken, you can request manual deletion of your profile:

Send an email from the address associated with your Chattify account to developer.chattify@gmail.com. Include your username and registration details. Our team will verify your identity and delete your account details manually within 72 hours.

4. What Happens to Your Data?

When you delete your account (whether via in-app steps or manual email requests), the following actions occur immediately:

  • Your profile is removed from active matching databases.
  • Your matched connections are cleared.
  • Your chat history, confessions contributions, and reported history logs are permanently hidden.
  • All virtual credits or active subscriptions are permanently terminated.

Backup logs are fully overwritten within 30 days of deletion.

5. Subscriptions Warning

Please note that deleting your account does not automatically cancel active auto-renewing subscriptions billed through Apple ID or Google Play. You must cancel active subscriptions inside your device's subscription manager (App Store or Play Store Settings) to prevent future charges.
